Message from the Superintendent

Welcome and thank you for visiting Evergreen School District. Established in 1860, Evergreen School District is located in the beautiful Evergreen Valley along the foothills of the Mount Hamilton Mountain Range and just minutes from the heart of San Jose, California, and the world famous "Silicon Valley."

Evergreen School District consists of thirteen thousand wonderful kindergarten through eighth grade students in eighteen schools staffed by eleven hundred dedicated employees. Our facilities are state of the art and technology abounds in each of our classrooms.

Our students achieve academically and socially, as evidenced by 18 of our schools having earned California State Department of Education Distinguished School Status and 11 of our schools having earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence. These distinctions exemplify the outstanding quality of education available to all students in Evergreen School District.

Because we are located in one of the fastest growing communities in Santa Clara County, the future holds exciting plans of new schools and many new opportunities for our students and employees.
